One of the people who has made a donation, Jason Smith, has suggested I video my final attempt at 100 consecutive press ups and put the video on YouTube. I think this is a great idea!

My final attempt was successfully completed on 3rd September 2008 when I did 102 consecutive press ups!

My video has also been uploaded on to YouTube. Click the link below to view it on YouTube.

Sunday 17th August

3rd Test Result: 51 Push Ups!                   Click here for the Complete Workout

WEEK 5

Tuesday 19th August

Required: 40 - 32 - 30 - 25, at least 40

I am over the moon to have managed 51 push ups on Sunday!!!

I knew today was going to be a tough one. And it was! I had to take longer rests but I am so pleased to have completed today and to have managed 41 at the end.

Actual: 40 - 32 - 30 - 25 - 41 = 168

Thursday 21st August

Required: 20 - 20 - 18 - 18 - 15 - 15 - 14, at least 40

I wasn't sure about the work out today. By that I mean, the format changes. I do lower numbers per set but there are more sets.

It was fine though. Still hard work and the last set was so hard. Having got sort of used to the low numbers, to have to do at least 40 at the end was really hard. But I know I've done over 50 before, so I just held that in my mind and stayed strong.

Very pleased to have managed 45 at the end, having done 120 in the preceeding sets. That's only 6 off my 3rd Test Result! COME ON!

Actual: 20 - 20 - 18 - 18 - 15 - 15 - 14 - 45 = 165

Saturday 23rd August

Required: 18 - 18 - 16 - 16 - 14 - 14 - 12, at least 40

Really happy to have finished Week 5. It was tough, but in a different way. It was the repititions and the program said to take less breaks between each set.

I was pleased to do 50 at the end. Got my 4th Test on Monday which will determine which column I start Week 6 in. You'll see once I update Week 6 how hard Day 1 of Week 6 will be, but I'm on the final straight to the finishing line now!!

I'd better get my video camera ready for the Final Test. 100 consecutive push ups here I come! :-)

Actual: 18 - 18 - 16 - 16 - 14 - 14 - 12 - 50 = 158

Weekly Total : 491 Push Ups

Program Total : 1,703 Push Ups
