One of the people who has made a donation, Jason Smith, has suggested I video my final attempt at 100 consecutive press ups and put the video on YouTube. I think this is a great idea!

My final attempt was successfully completed on 3rd September 2008 when I did 102 consecutive press ups!

My video has also been uploaded on to YouTube. Click the link below to view it on YouTube.

Monday 11th August

Required: 27 - 20 - 20 - 17, at least 27

This was hard today. I still psyched myself up but I'm beginning to realise that 2 days off makes it harder not easier. But perhaps that's just a Monday morning thing!

First few sets were OK but the last 20 and 17 were much harder than I thought they would be. I took an extra 30 secs rest between some and I needed it for the final set. The target was 27 and as I got to 17 the thought of another 10 seemed a hard ask, but I counted them up in threes and then fives and then twos, which made it easier and as I got to 27 I just pushed on to 30 and popped 1 more in before collapsing!

Actual: 27 - 20 - 20 - 17 - 31 = 115

Wednesday 13th August

Required: 27- 21 - 21 - 18, at least 25

The first 27 felt good but my arms are still quite sore and as I get towards 30 it feels unlikely that I could do many more.

I'll find out this weekend as I have another Test to do.

Really pleased with today as this now takes my Program Total Push Ups to over 1,000!!!

Actual: 27- 21 - 21 - 18 - 31 = 118

Friday 15th August

Required: 30- 22 - 22 - 20, at least 29

Today felt great! The 4th set of 20 felt the hardest, but when I got to last set I blasted through the target of 29 and am over the moon to have done 38 at the end of all that. More than I've done in one go so far :-)

Perhaps I am ready for Week 5 now. We'll see, it still looks pretty tough, especially Day 1 next week. I've got another test to do at the weekend so I'll see how many I can do then.

Actual: 30- 22 - 22 - 20 - 38! = 132

Weekly Total : 365 Push Ups
