WEEK 4
|
Tuesday 23rd June
Distance - 3.0 miles Time - 33.49mins
Really
pleased this morning!! I'm increasing my distances this week and so I'm
thrilled to have done a 3 mile run and whilst it was a bit warmer today
it felt great!
My legs were a bit sore during 2nd mile but chose a lovely route along
cycle path and into Farleigh Green and then did a couple of laps around
the football pitch. It felt nice to run on grass rather than the road.
The Old Weston Road up, out of Farleigh Green was up hill and much tougher
than it looked!
I
didn't really focus on pace times today; just getting the 3 miles done
as comfortably as possible and I was happy with the final mile.

Thursday
25th June
Distance - 3.0 miles Time - 32.58mins
I
had to do my run at lunchtime today and as I was about to set off the
heavens opened and it poured down. However, by the time I'd got my trainers
on it had stopped and the sun came out on the way home :)
I
decided to take it easy for the 1st 2 miles and try and go faster on last
mile. Perfect planning gives you perfect results!
My
last mile was the fastest and I was really happy to have set my fastest
time for 3 miles so far.

Sunday
28th June
Distance
- 4.0 miles Time - 46.03mins
I
am over the moon to have managed a 4 mile run!!!!!
It
was the hardest thing I've done in a long time, especially the final mile
which was all slightly uphill. Plus, I'm not sure numb and tingling feet
is a good sign but I pressed on regardless.
It was quite warm and humid too so I'm really chuffed! A great way to
end Week 4.
